Broadway Performer and Founder, Janice Jam: Broadway for Breast Cancer
Please describe what you are currently working on, and how you identify with the piece.
This is a charity event in honor of my late mother Janice who we lost to metastatic Breast Cancer in 2022. This is an annual Broadway Community event to raise money to save lives.
Where do you go to find inspiration?
I try and use my grief to help other families cope with this horrible disease.
In addition to this piece, what else are you working on?
A lot of irons in the fire that cant be announced just yet.
At what age did you start your craft? What inspired you to do so? How do you continue to exercise and grow it?
I started acting when I was 8 and have had a passion for charity work for a long time.
Have you always been a fan of theater? What was your first show? What is your favorite show?

Who is the audience for this show, and what would you like them to get out of it?
Hopefully EVERYONE!! Were trying to grow this to be raising over a million dollars every year for Metastatic Breast Cancer
What do you find challenging about this show? How do you like pushing yourself?
Pulling a project like this together is always a challenge but we have a very passionate team helping out and this is a deeply personal event for me.
Who are your collaborators? What do you like about working with them?
My amazing wife Christine Dwyer, Bryan Campione from Playbill.com, and The team at Ember Productions. Co-producers Tami Eagle Bowling and PJ Adzima have joined as well for year 2.
What are you most proud of with this production? Or in your life?
I am proud that i can use my success to help others.
